MS. ELIZABETH WOODARD
A ‘Celebration of Life” at Graveside in memory of Mrs. Elizabeth Woodard, who passed away November 15, 2018, will be held Saturday, De- cember 1, 2018, at 12 noon at Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea St., Tampa, with Elder Robert Shipp, officiating minis- ter.
Ms. Liz was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She attended public school in New York. She met Robert Woodard, got mar- ried, moved to Tampa, where they had one son. Ms. Elizabeth was a school teacher who en- joyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed attending her only grandson’s football games.
She is survived by: her son, Corey Woodard, and grandson, Corey Woodard, Jr.; step- daughter, Corinna Zielinski Woodard; brother, Bobby Grant; nieces in Philadelphia, Sharon, Connie, Niecy; nieces, Mary, Jackie, Ray, Keisha, Is- abell Moresly; long time friends, Viola Jones, Catherine Jones, Mr. Robert Shipp, Jes- sica, Phil, Bobbi; other family and friends.
Friends are asked to assem- ble at graveside, at 11:45 a. m., at Orange Hill Cemetery.

MS. VALERIE C. BROWN
A Celebration of Life will be held for Ms. Valerie C. Brown on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 2 p. m. at Integrity Funeral Serv- ices Chapel, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa, with Brother Alfred Williams of Belmont Heights Church of Christ, eulogist. Inter- ment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Valerie C. Brown was born to William Brown, Sr. and Gladys Brown in Tampa, Florida on De- cember 17, 1971. Valerie re- ceived her education in Hillsborough public schools and was an employee with Quest Di- agnostics for over 17 years as a laboratory technician. She loved being a mother, going to the movie theater and music. She at- tended the Highland Avenue Church of Christ. On Saturday, November 24, 2018, she entered her eternal rest.
She was preceded in death by: her mother Gladys Josephine Brown, aunt, Ethel I. Everett and uncle, Palvin L. Jackson, Ken- neth Bludsaw.
She leaves to cherish her lov- ing memories: children: Var- shawna Black, J’akeecia Villard, Jean P. Villard, Jr.; father, William Brown, Sr.; brother, William Brown, Jr.; sister, Sonia R. Brown-Williams; nephews, Charles Wynn, III, Devin C. Wynn, and Travis D. Wynn; nieces, Rikeisha S. Wynn-Hug- gins and husband, Michael A. Huggins, En’Dea I. Brown, Rikalia S. Mr. Xavier Greene of Tampa passed away Thursday, Novem- ber 15, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, De- cember 1 at 11 a. m. at Center For Manifestation Church, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Apostle Mark Jones, Pastor, with Reverend Charlsetta Arline, officiating.
Mr. Greene was a native of Tampa, and was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County.
He was preceded in death by: his grandfather, Charlie Riddle; great-grandparents, Helen “Madea” Williams, Luvernia Greene and Clifford Felton; great- aunt, Jacaquitta Thomas, Karen Williams, Rudine Creal Louise Greene and Dorothy Jor- dan; great- uncles, Carson Greene, Herman Williams, Ju- lian Williams and Theodore Jor- dan.

MR. JOHN E. ‘GOOD KID’ GOODMAN
Mr. John E. “Good Kid” Goodman of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018. A Graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 4 at 11 a. m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, with Reverend Prentiss Davis, officiating. Interment will follow.
Mr. John E. Goodman was a native of Eustis, Florida, and a resident of California for many years prior to retiring in Florida. He was a Howard W. Blake High School graduate and was a retired warehouse worker for F. W. Woolworth Company. After retirement he was a sky- cap manager for Airport Serv- ices at Miami International.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Ella Mae Good- man and James Goodman; brother, Charles Goodman; and sisters, Cletta Goodman, and Samaiyah Shakoor “Rose Good- man”.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his sister, Margaret Simon and husband, Jerry; nieces, Chinyere Mathis and Shavon Thompson; nephews, Ronald A. Cogman, II, Jawara Rainford, and Jermaine R. Goodman (Kimberly Gibson); great nephews, Jerthario Mays, Ronald A. Cogman, III, Jer- maine R. Goodman, and Jessiah R. Goodman; great nieces, Jaliyah Bullard and Jer’Karia Bullard; devoted friends, Rufus Lewis, Odell Stroud, Sr., Grace Sherman and Marlon Lewis; and a host of relatives and sor- rowing friends.

MS. ARIDEAN SHEPPARD
Ms. Aridean Sheppard, 82, of Tampa, passed away on Wednes- day, November 21, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted Satur- day, December 1, at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Pas- tor Donald Lott, officiating. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Aridean Sheppard was born to parents, Dan Hayes, Sr. and Rosa Lee Jones Hayes, on July 4, 1936 in Havana, Florida. She enjoyed her career as a Di- etary Consultant and worked for Women’s Hospital for 27 years.
Ms. Sheppard loved Jesus, her family, and fishing. Aridean and her husband, the late Ed- ward Sheppard, were married for 65 years and resided in Tampa. Together, they raised 4 children, Rosa, Judith, Avigail and VeraMae.
She was preceded to Heaven by: her parents, Rosa Lee Jones Hayes and Dan Hayes, Sr.; hus- band of 65 years, Edward Shep- pard; and grandmother, Pearl Ethel Hayes.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving children, Rosa Lee Gardiner, Judith Ann Spicer and husband, Alphonso Spicer, Avigail Willis and hus- band, Horace Willis, Jr. and step-daughter, VeraMae Flenton; 10 grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; 2 great- great- grandchildren; siblings, Pearl Ethel Taylor, Dan Hayes, Jr., Willie Earl Hayes and wife, Catherine Hayes; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
The remains will repose at 10 a. m. (one hour prior to service) Saturday morning at Ray Williams Funeral Home.
