MRS. LUJEAN TAYLOR BAILEY
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Lujean Taylor Bailey of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019, will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, 11 a. m. at 29th Street Church of Christ, 3310 N. 29th Street, Bro. Perry John- son, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Lujean was born February 10, 1937 in Demascus, Georgia, to the late Frank Taylor, Sr. and Sarah Love Taylor. She was married to the late David J. Bailey, Sr., who died in 1988.
She is survived by: her two sons, David J. Bailey, Jr. and wife, Patricia, and Frankie L. Bailey, Sr. (Evelyn); grandchil- dren, Tarsha N. Bailey- Mitchell, Latesa K. Bailey, David J. The visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019, at 29th Street Church of Christ, 3310 N. 29th Street from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will be present during the visitation from 6-7 p. m., to greet guest.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

1950, she attended New York City University. She remained a passionate reader through- out her life.
In 1950, she met and mar- ried James Reddy Summers. To that union was born her first child, James Reddy Sum- mers (Deidre). She later mar- ried Wallace Calvin Mims, Sr., who preceded her in death. To that union came four children, Wallace Calvin Mims, Jr. (Stephanie), Mildred Ellison, Lillian Murray (Sam), and Be- linda Mims-Reid (Glenn). She also had a wonderful step- daughter, Barbara Cherry.
Barbara was a loving, car- ing, and giving mother, grand- mother, and great-grandmother and war- rior for Christ! On March 15, 2019, Barbara answered her call to come home. She had fought the good fight and her Father called her to eternal rest. No more pain, no more suffering, her earthly job was complete. Just rest in the arms of our Heavenly Father!
Barbara leaves to cherish precious memories: her sister, Katherine Bethel Johnson and brother, Herbert George Bethel; 15 grandchildren, Willie, Jr. (deceased), Etrinda, Markita, Andre, Antonio, Ali- cia, Calvin, Shakira, Nitora, Ariel, Amina, Patrick, James, Jr., Stephen, Glenn, II.; 2 nieces, Germayne and Bernadette; 2 nephews, Chan- ning Johnson, and Patrick Davis; along with her cousins, Herbert Bolen and Mary Gads- den; and a host of great-grand- children, church members, and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Fri- day, March 22nd from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will receive friends from 5 p. m. until 7 p. m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

MRS. BERNICE GRIER THOMAS
A Homegoing Service for Mrs. Bernice Grier Thomas of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, will be held on Satur- day, March 23rd, 11 a. m. at Northside M. B. Church, 5706 N. 40th Street, Rev. Ricardo Robinson, pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Or- ange Hill Cemetery.
Bernice was born April 8, 1931, to the late Jimmy Parker Grier and Birdie Grier in Par- rott, Georgia. At a very early age, she accepted Christ as her Savior and served as a faithful member at Northside M. B. Church, under the leadership of the late Rev. Jacob Jordan, until her health failed her. She attended high school in Daw- son, Georgia, where she grad- uated from Helen Girl High School and then later relo- cated to Tampa, with her fam- ily.
She moved to Miami, Florida to be united in holy matrimony to Danny Thomas. After allowing the Lord to re- define her gift, she became an entrepreneur. She used her love for children and opened a daycare nursery, where she raised many children. She re- turned back to Tampa, where she resided until the Lord called her home.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Danny Thomas; 8 sisters and 2 broth- ers.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories: sister, Zepherine Pringle; sister-in- law, Hattie Grier; devoted niece and caregiver, Charlene Perkins; 10 nieces, 11 nephews, and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, ex- tended family and friends of Tampa and a host of family of Georgia.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, March 22nd, from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will receive friendsfrom5to6p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Satur- day for the service.

MRS. LAURA ELAINE WASHINGTON GLASGOW
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Laura Elaine Washing- ton Glasgow of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019, will be held Sat- urday, March 23rd, 2 p. m. at Re- vealing Truth Ministries, 5201 N. Armenia Ave., Pastor Greg A. Powe, officiating. The interment will be in Mayberry Cemetery, Seffner, Florida.
Laura Elaine Washington Glasgow was born on October 18, 1952, to the union of David and Laura Bell Washington. Laura Elaine Washington Glas- gow attended Hillsborough County Schools. She graduated from King High School with the class of 1970.
She than relocated to Rochester, New York with Aunt Dorothy. She returned to Florida and started a career with Winn Dixie Grocery Stores. She worked in several depart- ments of the Winn Dixie Stores in Thonotosassa, Florida.
She was a free-spirited per- son who loved the Lord. She re- ceived Christ at an early age from Loving Hill Primitive Bap- tist Church. Prior to her death she was a member of Revealing Truth Ministries Church. She had a contagious, cheering spirit that redirected to those who she came in contact with. Elaine loved talking about the Lord. She passed a positive and encouraging mind. She truly en- joyed her life and showed it by always singing uplifting songs. Her life was truly God filled.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, David and Laura Bell Washington.
She leaves to mourn and cherished memories with: sis- ters, Dinah Butler (Oscar) and Juanita Washington and special friend, John Trodgon; brother, David Thomas Washington, Jr. (Kelly); nieces, Nicole Butler, Telsalla Thomas (Antoine Stone) Ariel Washington and Denise McCutheon; nephews, Cyrum Thomas, Avantae Step- light, Tajar Welch, Stankey Thompson, Lamont Thompson and Myron McCutheon; great- niece, Tajarie Welch; great- nephews, Tareeq Welch, Jakeem Johnson, Antonio Stone, III, and Tajiri Stone; aunts, Cottie Mae Starks, Lonnie Mae Otis and Angela Edwards; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, friends and other relatives.

MRS. BARBARA MIMS
A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Barbara Mims of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019, will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, 10 a. m. at Unity M. B. Church, 3111 Ybor Street, Elder Frank O. Gray, Sr., offici- ating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
On the Twenty First day of January, Nineteen Hundred Thirty-Two, in Tampa, Florida, Barney and Leanora Lewis Coker welcomed their beauti- ful child, Barbara Louisa. Bar- bara accepted Christ at an early age and became an active mem- ber of Beulah Baptist Institu- tional Church, under the leadership of Rev. W. M. Davis and later Dr. A. Leon Lowry. As a member, she sang in several choirs and was faithful of the church’s Sunday School and BTU.
After many years of service, Barbara transferred her mem- bership in the mid-eighties to Unity Missionary Baptist Church, under the pastorage of Elder Henry H. Hunt.
During her formative years, Barbara was educated in the Hillsborough County School System, later attending the Boylan Haven School for girls in Jacksonville, Florida. Upon graduation from high school in
