MR. JIMMIE LEE NEWSON
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Jimmie Lee Newson will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at 2 p. m. at Integrity Funeral Serv- ices, 3822 E. 7th Ave., Tampa, with Rev. Dr. Patricia Hauser, officiat- ing. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Jimmie Lee Newson was born August 26, 1954, in Home- stead, Florida. He was a lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida and was educated in public schools of Hillsborough County.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Edna Slaton, Jimmie Newson; sister, Brenda Newson; niece, Belinda Dooley, and nephew, Quinton Girven.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories: his 6 children, Marissa Doughty (Alex), Latoya Mason (Antonio), Karen Newson (De- wayne), Carolyn Newson, Eric Worlds (Tasheba), and Eris Worlds; also 19 grandchildren: DaQuan, Lyndajzha, Zaria, Zy’Keiryah, Alexis, Jalen, Ja’Niyah, Jazman, Eric, Jr., Eli- jah, Tiana, Zion, Xavier, Dewayne, Jawan, Devin, Ty’Rek, Kahlin, and Rai’Seania; 3 great-grandchil- dren; 2 brothers, Albert Dooley and Joe Dooley; 15 nieces, Alicia (Daryl), Bridgette, Bershawn, Treaca, Bernetta, Alexis, Brittany, Rita, Shereka, Lakeisha, Ebony, and Deborah; 3 nephews: An- thony, Ethan (Candace), Jer- maine; and a host of other relatives and friends.

MR. BRYANT ANTHONY FAYSON
Mr. Bryant Anthony Fayson, II, departed these mundane shores for God’s Celestial Shores Sunday, March 17, 2019. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at 2 p. m., at Allen Temple AME Church, 2101 Lowe Street, Tampa, Florida 33605, Rev- erend Dr. Glenn Dames, Pastor, and Reverend Bryant A. Fayson, officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Bryant is a graduate of C. Leon King High School Class of 1993. He matriculated at The University of South Florida, where he earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. He was formally employed at the University of South Florida as an Assistant Director for Admissions to the College of Medicine. His most recent employment was with the “Straz Election Campaign” as a Field Coordinator. He is a loyal member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fra- ternity, Inc., as well as a Masonic Brother, Prince Hall Affiliated.

SISTER ELIZABETH JACKSON
Sister Elizabeth Jackson of Three Notch, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, March 23,2019at11A.M.atNew Progress Missionary Baptist Church, Tampa, FL, Reverend Quentin Flowers, officiating and Assistant Pastor, Reverend C. R. Batchelor, eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park.
Sister Elizabeth Jackson was born in Three Notch, Alabama to Sterling and Ossie Williams. She was the youngest of nine children and she attended the public school. She eventually moved to Tampa, FL, where she resided for over 50 years. She retired as a Line Supervisor at Singleton Shrimp Company. Sister Jackson was a member of New Progress Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Reverend Earlie J. Williams, Sr.
Elizabeth Jackson is pre- ceded in death by: her husband, Willie S. Jackson; parents, Ster- ling Williams and Ossie Williams; great grandson, An- thony Williams; brothers, CB Williams, Grover Williams, Joe Williams, Lovell Williams and Richard Williams; sisters, Icey Dossie, Daisy Johnson and Lula Mae Williams; and her closest and dearest friend, Ms. Frances.
Sister Jackson loved attend- ing her church and the morning prayer at Brown Memorial Church of God in Christ when she was able. Though she enjoyed lis- tening to various gospel songs,
towards the end, her favorite song became “I Am Climbing Up On The Rough Side of the Moun- tain.” She loved God and she was a lover of people. She would get overjoyed every time she ex- pressed how good God had been to her down through the years. Her phrase was “God Got Me” no matter what she was experienc- ing in her life.
She leaves to cherish her memories and to carry on her legacy: two sons who loved and will miss her deeply, Pastor Isiah J. Williams, Sr. (Linda) and Wayne Jackson, Sr. (Shelisia); seven grandchildren, Isiah Williams, Jr., Christina Williams, Felicia Marshall (John), Wayne Jackson, Jr., Jazzmine Golfin, Jazzline Golfin and Faith Jackson; ten great- grandchildren, Jayla Williams, Brianna Williams, Amaya Williams, Julian Marshall, Jamil Jackson, Marcus Jennings, Sha- reen Jennings, Elisa Jennings, Marielle Jennings and Janay Jones; one goddaughter, Patricia Thompson; a dedicated sister-in- law, Pearl Williams (Union Spring, Alabama); brother-in- law, Mr. Cal Jackson (New Jer- sey); sister-in-law, Jesserine Sanders (Columbus, Ohio); a host of nieces and nephews; to mention, James and Catherine Johnson (Detroit, Michigan), Johnny and Vera George (Mont- gomery, Alabama), Alexander Williams (Union Spring, Ala- bama), Geraldine Clark (Miami, FL), Annette Jackson (Detroit, Michigan) and Marcus Lee (Tampa); special friend of the family, Laila Darby; close rela- tionships, Laster Family, Sister Emma Carnegie, Mother Hattie Wilson, Mother Mazallen Jones and the Prayer Warriors of Brown Memorial Church of God in Christ.

MR. FREDDIE JAMES JONES
Mr. Freddie James Jones passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. A Memorial Service will be con- ducted on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 3 p. m. at Kingdom Hall, 6318 North 22nd Street, Tampa, Florida, with Kenneth Lee, offi- ciating.
Mr. Jones was a native of Florida and a resident of Tampa for over seventy years. He at- tended the public schools of Hillsborough County where he excelled academically. Uniquely gifted and talented, Freddie played tuba in the band and was a part of the famous Marching Yellow Jackets. He graduated with honors from Howard W. Blake High School in 1964.
After graduation, Freddie pursued higher education at the University of South Florida in Tampa becoming one of the first African Americans to en- roll and attend classes there. He furthered his education upon enlisting in the United States Air Force, where he served honorably until dis- charged.
Mr. Jones’ diversity and tal- ent was reflected in the jobs he held during his working life. Freddie was an Insurance Agent, a Quality Control Engi- neer at Schlitz Brewing, a Car Salesman at Ferman Oldsmo- bile, and finally a Quality As- surance Manager for PACA Foods, where he retired.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Bertha Green, Sr.; brother, Leroy Green, Jr.; sisters, Renee Davis and Phyllis Pratt and daughter, Jacqueline.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving, devoted wife of fifty-three years, Shirley Ann; three sons, Edward Charles, Steve and Jimmy; grandchildren, Monica, Jimet- rice, Evita, Nathan, Joshua, Angel, Zoey and Zaeden; great grandchildren, Jamilla, Zarrien and Zachary; brothers, Leonard Green, Sr., Ronald Green, Sr. (Helen) and Anthony Green (Jacquelyn); sisters, Michelle Green Dennard and Miarita Webb-Argo; brothers-in-law, James, Richard and Lewis (Mary) Leon; sisters-in-law, Mary Helen, Angela (Don), Annie Jewel (Willie), Pauline and Anita; uncles, Marshall Jones, Jr., and Roger Barrett; twenty-three nephews and thirty nieces, as well as other sorrowing relatives, including the cousins of the Jones, Bar- rett, Randolph, Clyde, Hayes and Berryhill families, and cousins of the Hamptons, Mc- Call, and Miley families of Val- dosta and Morven, Georgia, who carry his memories in their hearts.

WHAT A BIRTHDAY!
Pow Wow, oh, my God to my dear Brutha, Mr. Yogi. You would have been 48 years old today and I really hate that you are not here so we could have celebrated the big 48 for you in soul and body.
But instead, we are forced to support and celebrate your special day for you in spirit, which is still very painful for us.
It is very, very hard for us, but God is helping us maintain and deal with it. It has been 16 years, wow!
May God bless us. We love you so much and miss you dearly! But to the point, Happy Blessed heavenly spirit birth- day, Boo.
