Alicia Keys Returns To Host Grammys In 2020
Naturi Naughton Clap Backs At 50 Cent's Mortal Kombat Meme
LOS ANGELES – Alicia Keys will be brought back for a second consecutive year to host the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards in 2020.
Last year, the iconic singer became the first woman to host the show since Queen Latifah in 2005 according to CNN.
Keys, a 15-time Grammy Award-winning artist herself, said that the decision to come back was an easy one.

“At first I did think last year was a one-time thing but when the opportunity came back around there was no question about returning as host of the Grammy Awards,” Keys said in a press release. “Last year was such a power- ful experience for me. Not only did I feel the love in the room, but I felt it from around the world and it con- firmed the healing and unify- ing the power of music.”
Naturi Naughton is done with 50 Cent’s shade. The Power actress and movie star responded to Fiddy’s latest troll with a jab of her own, pointing out his apparent In- stagram timeout.
In an Instagram post that shared her original response to 50’s reaction-garnering tweet, Naughton said, “there’s so much I wanna say but... you don’t even have an Instagram account so... why waste my characters or come out of my CHARACTER!”
50’s post features the Mor- tal Kombat character ‘Goro’, and is clearly intended to make fun of Naughton’s hairline. The tweet – which is just the latest in a long line of social media trolls by the Power ex- ecutive producer – received se- rious backlash from fans. 😠Who the f**k did this,

Eddie Murphy Will Return As Axel Foley In ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ Sequel To Be Released On Netflix
According to Variety, Murphy is continuing his profitable relationship with Netflix (following the critic- and consumer-embraced Dolemite Is My Name) and will be starring in a Beverly Hills Cop sequel set to be re- leased exclusively on the pop- ular streaming platform.
No, I’m not trying to make you “fall for the banana in the tailpipe” ruse; it’s really hap- pening!
Eddie Murphy attends the Los Angeles Premiere of Net- flix’s “Dolemite Is My Name” on September 28, 2019 in Westwood, California.
The film will see him reprise his role as Axel Foley, a street-smart De- troit cop who finds himself transplanted to the tony streets of Beverly Hills. The first two films in the series were huge hits, though 1994’s Beverly Hills Cop III was a commercial and criti- cal disappointment. Vivica A. Fox Disses The Thought Of A 'Set It Off' Remake
Vivica A. Fox is not a fan of Issa Rae’s forthcoming remake of the 1996 cult clas- sic film Set It Off.
When asked about her thoughts on Rae’s reimagin- ing on Entertainment Tonight Fox spurned the idea. “Leave it alone, there’s absolutely no reason to try to re-do it,” she said. “It’s been done and we did it so well that people are absolutely going to compare it to that

and I think that’s her taking on a tremendous chore be- cause that film has become a
cult classic and some things are just better left.”
The original Set It Off, di- rected by F. Gary Gray, took in a hefty $41 million gross on a $9 million budget at the box office. In the film, Vivica A. Fox, Jada Pin- kett Smith, Queen Lati- fah, and Kimberly Elise star as four best friends who embark on a journey robbing banks successfully around the Los Angeles area.
Black Panther Star Chadwick Boseman Says There’s A Place For Denzel Washington In The MCU
Black Panther and Aven- gers star Chadwick Bose- man is “sure there’s a place” for acclaimed actor Denzel Washington in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In 2018, Washington revealed he’s yet to be approached by Dis- ney-owned Marvel or Warner Bros.-owned DC for a role in a superhero cinematic uni- verse, telling JOE.ie, “I haven’t been approached... we’ll see what happens.”
Asked if the comic book genre is a world Washing- ton would step into, he replied, “Never say never.” When promoting action crime-drama 21 Bridges,

produced by Boseman’s Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame direc- tors Anthony and Joe Russo, Boseman was asked if he and Black Pan- ther director Ryan Coogler might put in a word for Washington:
“If he wants to do it, I’m sure there’s a place for him,”
Boseman told JOE.ie. Should Washington be re- cruited for the MCU, Bose- man isn’t telling: the T’Challa actor is more fo- cused on the projects imme- diately ahead of him, including the soon-released drama Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and the 16th Cen- tury-set Yasuke.
