ATLANTA, GA – T. I. is continuing his work with At- lanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms as part of a 25- member task force employed to repurpose the Atlanta City Detention Center, according to CNN.
On Tuesday (July 2), Bot- toms issued a press release explaining the objective is to convert the jail into a “multi- faceted use center for well- ness and healing, skills-building, economic mo- bility and crime prevention.”
She added, “This Task Force reflects strong local leadership, willing to help us progress towards a safer, and just city. It is my hope this building will serve as an epi- center for resources, educa- tion, and training for the community.
“With the help of these members, I am optimistic that what is reimagined will be the future of One Atlanta.”

More recently, he helped post bail for 23 non-violent inmates.

On Tuesday (July 2), Rocky was arrested on sus- picion of aggravated assault after he was interviewed about the the alleged assault. The incident took place on Sunday (June 30) after he got into a heated dispute with a group of men who were upset over a pair of broken head- phones.

JAY-Z Sues NYC Licensing Company For 'Colossal Accounting Scandal'
The suit explains, the ac- cusations come “out of a massive years-long fraud perpetrated by Iconix and its affiliates to amass a portfolio of trademarks under false pretenses, in the process de- frauding its licensees and partners, and setting off a colossal accounting scandal the depths of which are still being uncovered.”
The “colossal accounting scandal” also “sent its share price from a peak of more than $400 per share in 2014, to less than a dollar today.”
Last year, Hov was pri- vately questioned about the fraud allegations by the Secu- rities and Exchange Commis-
JAY-Z
sion. His attorneys said they didn’t think the newly minted billionaire had any relevant information to share with SEC investigators at the time.
As a result of Iconix’s ac- tions, the suit says Hov and his companies “have incurred
substantial legal expenses in connection with, among other things, the federal gov- ernment’s investigations into Iconix’s massive fraud.”
The plaintiffs are seeking payment of legal fees and un- specified damages.

YG Denies Participation In Police Shooting Involving His SUV
INGLEWOOD, CA – YG has an alibi for the night his bulletproof Cadillac Escalade was used in a deadly deputy- involved shooting in Comp- ton. The vehicle is registered in YG’s government name — Keenon Jackson — but TMZ reports it’s primarily used as a company vehicle.
YG was unaware it was out the night of July 3 and had no idea what had tran- spired until after the fact.
“I was nowhere near the scene of this incident,” he tweeted on Friday (July 5). “I was in Hollywood recording in the studio all day. I was there until after midnight on the 4th of July and didn’t learn of these events until
YG
after they happened!”
When police were called
to scene, they were expecting an unruly DUI suspect. In-
stead, they wound up re- sponding to a deputy-in- volved shooting after a bystander was killed in the crossfire. A pursuit with the Escalade ensued and ended in Inglewood.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department re- vealed more shots were fired during the chase. The sus- pects shot at deputies and a Sheriff’s helicopter. During the melee, an officer was shot, but was treated and re- leased.
At least one suspect was taken into custody while one remains at large.
YG’s attorneys have al- ready spoken to law enforce- ment.
