Comedian Gary Owens Apologizes To The Game For Rapper, Stitches
The Game, Gary Owens and rapper Stitches.
Stitches has been having a rough week. The rapper got knocked out on camera by Game’s manager, arrested on drug related charges, and re- portedly jumped by his own crew. Now comedian Gary Owen is making fun of the Game/Stitches situation on Instagram.
The star of Think Like A Man and Ride Along posted a video to his IG page where he apolo- gizes to Game for Stitches “on behalf of white people.” Owen joked that Stitches does not represent his race. He also complimented the Los An- geles emcee for his face tattoo and his appearance in the 2006 movie Waist Deep.
Drake’s Diss Song About Meek Mill Gets Grammy Nod; Mill Responds
Drake and Meek Mill have been beefing for a while.
The nominations for the 58 Annual Grammy Awards were announced yesterday (Decem- ber 7), and it came as a surprise to some people that Drake’s Meek Mill diss record “Back To Back’ earned a nod for “Best Rap Performance.” Social media users used that an- nouncement as a reason to once again make fun of Meek for the way his feud with Drake played out.
It appears Meek is not feel- ing the idea of his rival being up for a trophy on Grammy night at his expense. The Dream- chaser posted a cryptic message on his Instagram page that seems to be addressing Drake’s nomination. He wrote, “They tipping the scales for them suckas to win.”

Mary J. Blige And Lil Kim Reunite For Holiday Concert
Another Rapper Claims 50 Cents Stole His Song
Well here’s another case of someone saying an artist or pro- ducer stole their song. This time a rapper by the name of Brix The Chef claims 50 Cent stole his song. Sonny Digital, who made the beat quickly exposed him and said he is lying! Sonny Digital actually dropped a ver- sion of the song that featured 50 Cent a year ago. We guess Brix The Chef snitched on himself.
On Saturday (Dec. 5), Mary J. Blige was just one of many performers who performed at Hot 97’s “Hot for the Holi- days” concert in Newark, NJ.
During her set, the Mary performed her 1997 hit “I Can Love You,” and if that wasn’t enough, the song’s rap feature feature, Lil Kim, joined her on stage for her verse!
The pint-sized rapper bom-
barded the stage wearing a fur jacket over a black leotard and thigh-boots, and the crowd went wild! And that should, because these two haven’t been on the same stage to per- form the classic song in years!
Busta Rhymes hosted the event, which included appear- ances by Puff Daddy, Lil Wayne, Mariah Carey, Fetty Wap, French Mon- tana, Rick Ross, and more.
Patti LaBelle And Her Pie Social Media Star Will Be Featured On Holiday Cooking Special
Tamar Braxton Is Back In The Hospital
Almost one month ago, Tamar had to drop out of "Dancing With The Stars", take an absence from co-hosting the daytime talk show “The Real,” and cancel tour appearances after it was discovered she was suffering from pneumonia (shortly after, she was diag- nosed with having a pulmonary embolism).
After a week in the hospital last month, Tamar was re- leased. But unfortunately now, it seems she’s back in the care of doctors.
On Friday (Dec. 4), Tamar uploaded an Instagram video from her hospital bed. In the video she hoarsely speaks from a hospital bed; she doesn't say
Patti LaBelle and James Wright
Patti LaBelle and James Wright are the newest “it” team when it comes to cooking, pies, and holiday cheer.
Ever since Wright’s review of her sweet potato pies went viral, it’s been a rocket ride for Wright. It’s now been re- vealed that the legend and her newest fan-friend/partner will host a holiday cooking special on the Cooking Channel.
This news comes after La- Belle invited Wright to her home for Thanksgiving, where the two sang and LaBelle showered Wright with gifts, including a Louis Vuitton bag.
The show was filmed before the holiday, and it was the first time they met each other in person. “It was his first time seeing me, so when he came
into the kitchen, he saw me and my back was turned. He came up behind me, and he had on these beautiful leopard pants and a necklace,” the singer says. “We just had a love mo- ment,” Patti told People.
The pair have become close, forming a mother and son rela- tionship. “He’s such a larger than life person himself; he’s like my new son. It’s just a blessing when people come into your life like this, and you’re not expecting anything.”
Along with the cooking spe- cial, the duo will also be per- forming together at an upcoming concert.
The special is set to air on De- cember 16 at 8:30 ET on the Cooking Channel.

Tank Launches His Own Record Label
R&B crooner Tank is the newest artist to start his own label.
The singer, who’s been in the game for almost 20 years, has announced he’s starting a label called “R&B Money,” an im- print on the label to which he’s signed, Atlantic Records. (And to think, just a year ago, Tank was talking about giving up on music all together!)
The singer made the an- nouncement on his Instagram account on last Friday.
The singer already has a few acts under his tutelage; Youtube sensations /Texas trio 12:Til and femcee Siya.
Along with his new venture, he’s also working on the release of his upcoming album Sex, Love & Pain II (SLP2) featur-

This is great news for the R&B genre. We know the tal- ented Tank will sign some great artists, which should boost R&B’s struggling image.
