ARTHUR ‘SKIP’ BROWN 8/13/1949 – 12/9/2000
It’s been 15 years... and yet at times, the pain from our loss weighs so heavy, it feels like it’s only been 15 minutes since God called you home.
The indelible impression you left on our lives and in our hearts stays with us. Through it all, we continue to thank God for the 30 blessed years we had with you as a devoted husband and loving father.
Our love for you remains forever in our hearts. Your girls: wife Linda; daugh- ters, Shaundra and Nicole; and granddaughter, Danyel.
MRS. DRUSCILDA ELIZABETH SALMON
Funeral service for Mrs. Druscilda Elizabeth Salmon, 89, of Tampa, who passed away at her residence on De- cember 3, 2015 will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at 11 a. m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3005 E. Elliott, Tampa, Rev. Dr. T. W. Jenkins, pastor, with Minister James Richardson, officiating. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mrs. Salmon was pre- ceded in death by: her par- ents, Cordella Brown and Alexander Ellis; and siblings, Lucilda Fairclough, Eliza- beth Ellis, Francella Ellis and Edith Brown.
Sister Druscilda leaves to cherish fond memories with: her six children, Elder Lloyd Reid, Winston Stanberry, Owen Foster, Errol Car- ridice, Oswald Carridice and Ruth Marshall; 41 grandchil- dren, 51 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; niece, Sheryl Brown; nephew, Neville Brown; and a host of other relatives and family friends.
A native of Cockpit Claren- don, Jamaica, West Indies, Mrs. Druscilda Salmon was born as Druscilda Ellis to the parentage of Cordella Brown and Alexander Ellis on De- cember 23, 1925.
As a young child, Drus- cilda attended Free Town All Age School. After graduation she relocated to Kingston, where she worked as a home- maker.
While in Kingston, she started her family. In 1980 she migrated to the United States.
She accepted the Lord at an early age and served Him proudly until her transition. Sister Druscilda worked and continued living her life for Christ. Sister Salmon was a member of New Hope Mis- sionary Baptist Church.
Sister Druscilda has touched so many lives with her wisdom and humbleness. She will be deeply missed.
There will be a viewing on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 5-8 p. m. at Wilson Fu- neral Home.
Friends are asked to as- semble at the church on Sat- urday at approximately 10:45 a. m.

MR. WILLIAM AUGUSTUS WALKER
A celebration of life for Mr. William Augustus Walker, 92, of Tampa, who passed away Sunday, Novem- ber 29, 2015, at Memorial Hospital, will be held Satur- day, December 12, 2015, at 11 a. m. at Thirty-Fourth Street Church of God, 3000 N. 34th Street, Tampa, 33605, with Bishop Thomas Scott, Senior Pastor, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
A native of Jamaica, Mr. Walker was born on Decem- ber 20, 1922 and was reared in May Pen, Clarendon.
In 1946, he relocated to Tampa, to work in the family business, Woody’s Cleaners, located in downtown Tampa on Central Avenue.
Mr. Walker became a United States Citizen on Feb- ruary 23, 1954.
In 1969, he gained employ- ment with the University of Tampa and with Tampa Bay Mall in 1975.
In 1978, he was employed with the Hillsborough County School System work- ing at Williams Elementary.
Mr. Walker held two full- time jobs for 24 years before his final retirement from the Hillsborough County School Board.
Loved ones that preceded him in death were: his par- ents, Ms. Jane Hamilton and William Walker; and brother, Alvado Smith.
He leaves to cherish him in precious memories: son, Noel Walker and wife, Roberta; grandchildren, Quintin X. Hamilton, Danielle Dawkins, Andrea Walker, and Marsha Walker Kearnes and husband, Randy; loving sister, Lottie V. Hamilton; nephew, William A. Hamilton; niece, Altamese Williams; cousins, Sandra Catron, Dexter, Donna, Denise and Diane Allen; and other loving friends.
The visitation will be held from 5-8 p. m., Friday, De- cember 11, 2015 at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, 33605.

MR. ARTHUR LAYMON WILSON
Funeral service for Mr. Arthur Laymon Wilson, 71, who passed away December 4, 2015 in North Carolina, will be held on Saturday, De- cember 12, 2015 at 1 p. m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1203 Nebraska Av- enue, Tampa, with Father Hugh Chikawe, officiating. Interment will follow at Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Arthur Wilson leaves to cherish fond memories with: daughter, April Dockery; granddaughters, Sabrina Dockery and Candice Rosa; brother, Parris E. Wilson, Jr.; sisters, Gloria W. Davis, Margaret W. Webb and Bet- tye W. Ennis; nieces, Victoria D. Saho, Judy L. Davis, Jacqueline Webb, Hope P. Wilson, Dessiree Ennis and Delena Ennis; nephews, Julius D. Davis, Parris Kevin Wilson, Bobby Webb, Jr. and Daniel Jones; in addition to other relatives and friends.
Arthur was born on March 5, 1944 in Tampa, to the parentage of Parris Wilson, Sr. and Ida Mae Wilson, both are deceased.
He attended the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Middleton Senior High, class of 1961. He obtained an A. A. degree in Education from Gibbs Junior College in 1963.
He left Tampa to live with his father in Newark N. J., and enrolled in Kean College/Newark State College, where he obtained a B. A. de- gree. He later obtained a M. A. degree from Seton Hall Uni- versity.
Arthur was a sixth grade teacher in Newark, N. J. at Peshine Avenue School. Arthur was a Project Coordi- nator/Vice Principal at Queen of Angels School from 1971 to 1975. Arthur was a principal for 34 years at St. Rose of Lima School prior to his retirement. He held many positions in dif- ferent organizations.
There will be a viewing on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Wilson Funeral Home from 5-8 p. m. with the family re- ceiving friends from 7-8 p. m. Friends are asked to assem- ble at the church on Saturday at approximately 12:45 p. m.

MISS ANNIE ‘BABA’ DORIS WILSON
Homegoing celebration for Miss Annie Doris Wil- son of Tampa, who passed away Wednesday, Decem- ber 2, 2015, at 11 a. m., there will be a viewing at 10 a. m. at Deliverance Church of the Body of Christ, 2708 E. 23rd Avenue, Bishop George Bailey, pastor, offi- ciating. The interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Miss Annie Doris Wilson slipped away quietly to be absent from the body, so that she could be present with the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lizzie Garland-Peeler.
She leaves her memories to be cherished with: her daughter, Drucilla R. Smith and grandson, Adrian Ja- maal Smith of Tampa; sis- ters, Dorothy Wilson, Tallahassee, FL, Lillie (George) Clark, Tallahas- see, FL, Mary Mott, Jack- sonville, FL, Gloria “Pat” Jean Henry (deceased), Annie Lois (Roosevelt) Roderick, Thomasville, GA, and Brenda Willis and Sarah Merrell (Shelly) Cross, both of Tampa; brothers, Avalie (Evelyn) Spivie, Cairo, GA, Kenneth (Dorothy) Wilson, Talla- hassee, FL, and William (Mina) Merrell, Tampa; a childhood best friend, Joyce Simpson, Tampa; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, step sis- ters and brother.
