Wide Receiver Antonio Brown Asks Steelers For Trade
ANTONIO BROWN
Antonio Brown has offi- cially requested a trade from the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The news of Brown's trade request comes right after the Pro Bowl wide re- ceiver tweeted a farewell to the Steelers and their fans, saying it is "time to move on and forward."
Brown, 30, has been the subject of widespread trade speculation after he failed to show up to work the day be- fore the season finale against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Kareem Hunt Releases Statement After Being Signed By Browns
KAREEM HUNT
Kareem Hunt will get a second chance in the NFL at some point, thanks to the Cleveland Browns, and the star running back is once again expressing remorse for the actions that resulted in him being cut by the Kansas City Chiefs during the 2018 season.
Shortly after the Browns announced on Monday that they have signed Hunt, the former third-round pick re- leased a statement through the team admitting what he did was “wrong and inexcus- able.” He also thanked the Browns and general manager John Dorsey and said he will work to earn their trust.
Hunt was waived by the Chiefs back in November after a video surfaced that showed him shoving and kicking a woman at a hotel.

Winston: So Much
Signs 3-Year Deal To
Of It Is Mechanical
Return To Panthers
It’s no secret that a big reason the Buccaneers hired Bruce Arians as their head coach was the hope that he could help lift quarterback Jameis Winston to greater heights in 2019.
Arians hasn’t been shy about discussing where Winston needs to improve and identified decision mak- ing as one of those areas shortly after being hired. Me- chanics are also an issue that’s come up as Arians, offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich and quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen have reviewed Winston’s throws.
“I’ve studied a bunch of them,’’ Arians said, via the Tampa Bay Times. “Clyde has watched every throw he’s made since his rookie year

and Byron, too. And it’s like you’re trying to look safeties off too long and your feet are crossed. So much of it is me- chanical.’’
Arians said that the plan is for Christensen to work with Winston on “footwork and drills and throwing off balance and making these throws” until the mechanical issues are resolved.
Safety Eric Reid says the three-year deal worth slightly more than $22 million he signed with the Carolina Pan- thers on Monday should strengthen his collusion griev- ance against the NFL.
The NFL Players Associa- tion filed a collusion grievance against the NFL on Reid's be- half in May when he was not signed after the San Francisco 49ers opted to let their 2013 first-round pick become an unrestricted free agent.
The grievance, which is on- going, alleged team owners and the league, influenced by President Donald Trump,
ERIC REID colluded to prevent Reid's
employment because of his protests against social injus- tice. Reid in 2016 became the first player to join former San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick in kneeling dur- ing the national anthem.
Demaryius Thomas Released By Texans
‘I’m Living Life:’ Floyd Mayweather Drops $200,000 At Gucci Amid Calls For Boycott
FLOYD MAYWEATHER
Demaryius Thomas
was improving by the week with the Houston Texans be- fore he suffered a torn Achilles that ended his 2018 season, and it sounds like the six games he played with the team will be his only six.
The Texans released Thomas on Tuesday.
Thomas has already suf- fered a torn Achilles during his NFL career. He had a remark- ably fast recovery the first time, but the road could be tougher now given that he is 31 years old.

Thomas finished the 2018 season with 677 yards and five touchdowns. It was the second consecutive season he failed to eclipse the 1,000- yard receiving mark after doing so the previous five years.
Despite entertainers such as T.I., Spike Lee and Soulja Boy calling for a boy- cott of Gucci amid the brand’s blackface controversy, boxing champ Floyd Mayweather says the backlash doesn’t sway his decision to support the company.
“I’m not no follower, I do what the f*ck I wanna do,” Floyd said when TMZ Sports caught up with him shopping at a Gucci store in Beverly Hills.
When told that Lee, T.I. and the culture in general would be disappointed with him dropping over $200,000
at the store, he fired back with: “You said they’re gonna be upset with me? I love it, I love it, I love it. See, the thing is this, I live for myself. I do whatIwanttodo.I’mnota follower. You know when everybody else they say, ‘Everybody gonna boycott?’ I say guess what, this boy gonna get on a yacht and live life.”
Mayweather is the first celebrity to ignore calls for a boycott, but Mayweather is known for KOs in the boxing ring, not for being outspoken about issues of racial and so- cial justice.
