Larry Wilmore Is Back!: Signs Multi-Year Contract With ABC
Now cancelled, The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore star, Larry Wilmore has signed a multi-year, overall deal with ABC Studios. Ac- cording to The Hollywood Re- porter, the deal will allow Wilmore to "develop mate- rial for his own projects as well as supervise others and work with ABC Studios in targeting upcoming talent for the stu- dio."
This sees Wilmore return to ABC Studios, where he de- veloped black-ish with Kenya Barris before leaving as its showrunner to headline The Nightly Show.
Wilmore, who also worked on The Bernie Mac Show and
Larry Wilmore will take his creative genius back ABC.
The P.J.'s, co-created and is an executive producer for HBO's hit show Insecure.
Lil Wayne Announces He Will Drop ‘Funeral’ Project
Nas will be releasing Kneel- ing Santa sweaters just in time for the holiday season on HSTRY.com.
Proceeds from the sweater sells will be donated to the Center for Court Innovation. A publicly-funded and award- winning organization, the CCI advocates for justice reform.

Proceeds From Nas’ Holiday Sweater Will Go To Criminal Justice Reform Group
Iconic rapper and businessman, Nas, is selling the ‘kneeling Santa’ sweater. The proceeds will go to Center for Court Innova- tion.
Lil Wayne has another proj- ect in the works and it’s called Funeral. The New Orleans rap- per made the announcement on The Nine Show, a talk show for skaters.
“That Funeral coming soon,” he says. “Get your roses ready.” Tunechi had few details on Funeral and acknowledges that the year has been a rough one for him and his fans with his legal battle against Birdman. But he promises better days
ahead.
“I don’t have a release date,
but I have a whole bunch of good news coming soon,” he adds. Back in May, Weezy an- nounced at a concert in Phoenix that he had two albums in the vault for his fans before throw- ing more shade at Birdman. Wayne dropped the collabora- tive Collegrove album with 2 Chainz this year and was fea- tured on a slew of projects, in- cluding the Birth of a Nation soundtrack with Gucci Mane on “Oh Lord” and a guest verse on Damian Lillard’s debut album, which of course was con- tested by Birdman.
J. Anthony Brown Is Gone From ‘Tom Joyner Morning Show’ After 20 Year Stint
Veteran comic J. Anthony Brown has officially departed the nationally syndicated “Tom Joyner Morning Show” after a 20-year run working opposite “The Fly Jock” Tom Joyner and Sybil Wilkes.
Reports say that he was orig- inally scheduled to work through Wednesday Nov. 30, but he did not appear for his last three days on the program and did not get a chance to say goodbye to the fans. Brown’s Manager Sharavious Jack- son told All Access, his official last day on the show was Fri- day (11/25/16).

Rumors were swirling that
the Tom Joyner Show would be cancelled completely. How- ever, after major public outcry, the show continues to air. With J. Anthony Brown gone, the payroll for the show is cut significantly.
