MR. WILLIE VINCENT HOPPS, SR.
The homegoing celebra- tion for Mr. Willie Vincent Hopps, Sr. of Tampa, who passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016, will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016, 2 p. m. at Cathedral of Faith Church, Inc., 6304 N. 30th St., Apostle James H. Howell, pastor, officiat- ing. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Willie enjoyed playing music, watching sports, and loving his family.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Thelma Cooper; father, Willie Lee Hopps; sister, Rosa Cooper and daughter, Kathryn Hopps.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories with: his wife, Victoria Hopps; children, Dominique Hopps, Shantae Hopps (Es- peranza), Valencia Hopps, Ebony Hopps, Dimontario Hopps, Sr., Willie V. DEACON EDMUND LASING
The homegoing celebration for Deacon Edmund Lasing of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016, 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th St., Tampa, 33610, Rev. S. Evan Burrows, pastor, officiat- ing. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Deacon Edmund James Lasing was born on June 4, 1926, in Nashville, GA. He was the only child of the late Robert and Es- tella Burnette Searcy Lasing. He was honorably discharged from his military duty in the United States Army on September 13, 1946 from the Albertine Army Camp in Baltimore, Maryland. He relocated to Tampa in August 1947.
Deacon Lasing was converted at an early age and was baptized into the fellowship of Jesus Christ at the Bresher Creek Baptist Church in Adel, Georgia. He united in service unto the Lord with First Baptist Church of Col- lege Hill, Tampa, Florida in April 1968.
He was married to the late, Mrs. Beatrice Nelson Lasing for more than 50 years and was the wonderful father of seven chil- dren. He retired from Tampa Electric Company after 35 years of employment. His faith and love for God and his church were demonstrated through his sup- port of the different ministries he so diligently worked in. He was an honorary member of the Dea- con Board and a member of the Usher Board. He also served with the Finance Ministry and the Sun- day School Association. Deacon Lasing was a former member of the Church Security Team and the Transportation Ministry. He was diligent, faithful and very dedicated in his volunteer duties for the Hot Meal Ministry, where he served daily.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Beatrice Nelson Lasing; mother, Estella Searcy Lasing; fa- ther, Robert Lasing; grandpar- ents, Anderson and Matilda Searcy; daughter-in-law, Mau- reen Kay Lasing; three aunts and three uncles.

A homegoing celebration for Ms. Cliffette Hollinger of Tampa, who passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016, will be held on Saturday, De- cember 3, 2016, 11 a. m. at Peace Progressive M. B. Church, 2607 E. 24th Avenue, Rev. Albert Gallmon, Jr., offi- ciating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Cliffette Hollinger was born to the parentage of the late Robert Hollinger and Alma Hollinger on September 20, 1954 in Tampa, Florida.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was baptized at Peace Baptist Church under the lead- ership of Reverend J. C. Goins.
Cliffette was preceded in death by: father, Robert Hollinger, brother, Bobby Hollinger, Sr., grandparents, Arlean Neves, Isom Crews, Eddie Mae Hollinger, Falcon Hollinger, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

MRS. MATTIE RUTH BOGANS-TUCKER
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, Decem- ber 3, 2016, 11 a. m., at Rest Haven Cemetery for Mrs. Mat- tie Ruth Bogans-Tucker; as per her wishes; Minister Tal- lie Gainer, III, Eulogist.
On November 27, 2016 Mrs. Tucker heard the call of her heavenly father as she woke that morning singing and praising the Lord according to the nurses that were caring for her. She answered the call of “well done thy good and faithful servant.” Mrs. Tucker made a very peaceful transi- tion to her heavenly home.
Mrs. Mattie Ruth Bogans- Tucker was born in Smithville, GA, April 2, 1927 to Mr. and Mrs. Curtis (Jessie) Bogans. Her family relocated to Florida when Mrs. Tucker was 3 years old. She was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from Middleton Adult High School. Mrs. Tucker operated her own in- home daycare for many years.
Mrs. Tucker was prede- ceased by: Mr. Luther Tucker (husband), Mr. Herbert Floyd, Sr. (son), and Ms. Ida Floyd (aunt).
Mrs. Tucker leaves to cher- ish her homegoing with: a very loving, caring, and de- voted daughter, Ms. Connie “Nena” Tucker; four grand- sons, Mr. Herbert Floyd, Jr. (Angela), Mr. Steven Floyd (Shardawn), Mr. Phillip Floyd, and Mr. Corey Tucker; three granddaughters, Ms. Pallas Floyd, Tashianna Bryant (Demond), and Mrs. Kaylan Ross (Ralph); 16 great- grandchildren; two very de- voted godsons, Mr. Tallie Gainer, III (Carla) and Mr. Lyndon Hicks (Janice); five great- godchildren; two daughters-in-law, Mrs. Cheryl Tisdale (James) and Mrs. Betty Johnson; two nieces; Mrs. Evelyn Cooper and Mrs. Betty Bing; one very devoted cousin, Mrs. Barbara Poole (Johnnie); several devoted friends among whom are Mr. and Mrs. Allie (Florence) Gainer, Mrs. Eloise Tinsley, Mrs. Alvesta Dow and Mrs. Lottie Bexley. Mrs. Tucker is also survived by a host of other sorrowing family and friends.

Mother Willa J. Galloway of Tampa passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, De- cember 3, at 11 a. m. at Tem- ple of The Apostles, 3505 N. Central Avenue, with Bishop Roy Moreland, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mother Galloway was a native of Headland, Ala- bama and a resident of Tampa for 66 years. She was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School and was a member of Holy Hill of Zion, where she served as Assis- tant Pastor.
She leaves to cherish her memory with: daughter, Gloria Galloway Grover of Tampa; nephew, who was raised as her son, Hillard J. Dickey; grandson, Lawrence Galloway of Bronx, NY; brother, Roy Hammock of Stafford, VA; sister, Annie J. Butts of Dothan, AL; de- voted niece, Sharise Grier; niece, Shamesa Grier; cousins, Wayne and Jerri Reaves of Tampa, Lillie R.
