City Of Tampa Black History Committee Presents Scholarships
The City of Tampa Black History Committee (COTBHC) held its Scholarship Awards ceremony last month and presented scholarships totaling $16,000. Over the past 19 years they have awarded $201,000 (including the $16,000). (Photographs by BRUNSON)

Ross Anderson, Founder of Men of Vision, Celeste Gibbons-Peo- ples, COTBHC President, and Ebone Cruz, Mistress of Ceremonies for the 19th Annual Scholarship Ceremony. Anderson was presented a check for $1,500 for Men of Vision and the COTBHC presented Ms. Cruz with flowers for MCing the event.
Krysha Caldwell, wrote her essay on Doretha Edgecomb, re- tired Hillsborough County Edu- cator and School Board Member.

Authority Board Meeting Wednesday
The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Tampa is scheduled for Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 8:30 a. m. at the Adminis- tration Offices, 5301 West Cy- press Street, Tampa, Florida 33607.
