Annual Triple H Men’s Conference Planned

On Saturday, June 24th, men in the community will gather for the Annual Triple H Men’s Conference. The event will take place at the College Hill Conference Center, 1002 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd., from 9 a.m. until 12 noon.
Superintendent Charles Davis, pastor of Col- lege Hill Church Of God In Christ said, the purpose of the conference is to bring men to- gether to become better Black men and to build better fami- lies.
Upon creating the confer- ence several years ago, it was designed with the Head, Heart, and Home, which stands for the Triple H in the name of the conference.
Last year, nearly 300 men gathered for the conference to discuss ways to provide sup- port for each other and to dis- cuss building stronger Black families.

serve as the keynote speaker. A former State Representative, Narain is a native of Queens, New York.
He graduated from Saint Leo University with a M. B. A. in 2009 and continued his ed- ucation at Stetson University, College of Law. He graduated in 2013.
He is married and the fa- ther of 2 children.
Narain currently serves as the Area Manager for AT & T cellular company.

said in addition to the other events planned during the con- ference, two local community activists will also be honored.
During the conference Rubin Padgett will be recog- nized for his achievements as an elected official and activist in Hillsborough County. The second honoree is Bobby Bowden, who will be hon- ored for his contributions and accomplishments as a career employee with the City of Tampa.
