‘Fences’ Falls Short At Box Office
Denzel Washington and Viola Davis play husband and wife in the movie, ‘Fences’.
Nicki And Meek Are Still
A Couple
Rumors have been flying lately about Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill.
Well, it looks like Omeeka is still going strong!
Rumors have been swirling that Nicki Minaj called it off with her boo Meek Mill. Ap- parently all that talk proved to be just a rumor indeed as the two have been said to still be going strong.
According to TheJasmine- Brand, the reports of Meek Mill allegedly creeping with a Philly based boutique owner were also completely false!
An insider has revealed some key information about their re- lationship.
“They have issues just like every other couple, but they’re STILL together. She’s not fo- cused on the rumors especially when it’s no truth to them. She’s been laying low. Nicki’s actually in the studio record- ing,” said the insider.
It sounds to me that they probably did take a break, but they decided to get right back together and have to clean this drama up somehow. Meek bet- ter not mess up with Nicki; she’s the best thing he’s got!
R. Kelly Has 35 More
Trying to get ahead of the holiday fray, Denzel Wash- ington and Viola Davis’ “Fences” (Paramount) opened during less desirable play time. “Fences” did not perform at an ideal level, but nabbed significant attention to boost them with upcoming dates.
Washington’s film of Au- gust Wilson’s play, with an acclaimed cast, fell short de-
spite strong, if not excep- tional, reviews
“Fences” differs from other movies trying to break through during the Christmas holiday. However, the fact that “Fences” appeals to older and broad African-American audiences, both demograph- ics are among those less in- clined to interrupt pre-holiday activities for moviegoing.
R. Kelly is busy.
Say what you will about R. Kelly, but his rap opera Trapped In The Closet is one
of the most innovative proj- ects in recent musical history. Speaking about his 2017 plans with AJC.com, R. Kelly revealed that he’s ready to add to the 33 chap- ters of the opera — and not
just in small steps.
“I have my R&B hip-hop
album – I haven’t named it yet, and “Trapped in the Closet,” I have 35 more chap- ters of that done. I’m very ex- cited about that.”
It doesn’t sound like the finer details are worked out just yet, but R. Kelly sounds certain that the next instal- ment of Trapped In The Closet will be out soon.
