MS. ANGELA DELORES THORNTON SOLOMON
A funeral service honoring the life of Ms. Angela Delores Thornton Solomon will be held on Saturday January 25, 2020, at 2 p. m. at Wil- son Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. T. D. Leonard, officiating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Ceme- tery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, Florida.
Angela was born in Tampa, Florida on December 31, 1957, to Johnnie Thornton, Sr. and Dorothy Mitchell. She attended the public
schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate from Plant High School, Class of 1975.
She was devoted for 34 years to the love of her life, Alexander Solomon. She enjoyed caring for her home and family, and she did so withg reat skill and pride.
Angela D. Thornton Solomon ac- cepted Christ at an early age. We were blessed to experience her guid- ance and affection firsthand throughout the years. While some pain is inevitable we know that com- fort and joy will one day replace our tears. For Angela, January 15th was not the end, but the beginning. She is absent from the body, but is now present with the Lord!
Angela was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie Thornton, Sr. and her brother, Donald Thornton.
Left to cherish memories of her are: her mother, Dorothy Mitchell; her devoted husband, Alexander Solomon; as a daughter, Xandria Solomon-Brown and husband, Kelvin; brother, Johnnie Thornton, Jr. and his wife, Gloria; sister, Mia Mitchell; and a host of aunts and un- cles, neices, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day, January 24, 2020, at Wilson Fu- neralHome,from5–8p.m.
Friends are asked to assemble at the chapel on Saturday at approxi- mately 1:45 p. m. for the service.

MRS. TRAVIA H. CARTER WILSON
Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Travia H. Carter Wilson, who passed away on January 19, 2020, will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2 p. m. at Center For Manifesta- tion, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida, Apostle Mark T. Jones, Sr. Pastor, with Pastor Antonio Hawkins of Exciting Faith Alive, of- ficiating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, Florida.
Travia H. Carter Wilson was born on January 4, 1980 to the parentage of Cassandra Cook-Harris and Ronnie Carter. She attended public schools of Hillsborough County and later was employed with A-Plus Childcare for many years. At the time of her demise, Travia was employed with Hillsborough County Transportation Department. Travia was very personable and well-liked by all who encountered her. She en- joyed spending time with family, friends and her Sisters of Imani Chapter 382.
Travia was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Sarah and Joseph Myrick and aunt, Valarie Hicks.
She leaves to cherish memories with: her loving husband, Derrick Wilson; daughters, Quawnlindereia Carter and Asiah Carter; son, Elijah Wilson; father, Ronnie Carter; mother, Cassandra Cook Harris; grandmother, Susie Bell Carter- Brown; sisters, Twanda Alexander (Nickolas), Kechedreonna Dean (De- onta); brother, Ronnie Cook; aunts, Judy Poole, Martha Carter, Barbara Carter-Ellis (Keith), Angela McMur- ray, Sheryl Kelly (Luther), Cherlyn Levy, Latanya Y. MRS. MARGE (‘CILLA’) BROOKINS
Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Marge “Cilla” Brookins, who passed away on Wednesday, Janu- ary 15, 2020, will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020, at 2 P. M. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 3410 E. Wilder Ave., Tampa, FL, Joseph A. Sykes, Pas- tor, with Pastor T. J. Hargrove offi- ciating. The interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Marge “Cilla” Hayes Brookins was born to Mavis Baker on Janu- ary 26, 1944 in Pierce, FL. She was the oldest of three siblings: Letha Baker and Annette Holmes (Lloyd). She moved to Lakeland and began her Christian journey at an early age at Zion Hill Primitive Baptist Church.
She attended Rochelle High School and graduated in the class of 1961. Marge obtained her AA De- gree from Gibbs Junior College.
She worked for over 20 years with Honeywell Industries. She was currently retired. Marge loved her husband, children, grand and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.
Marge “Cilla” will always be loved, and her memories will be in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
Marge was preceded in death by her loving mother, Mavis Baker and her grandparents, Josh and Hilo Hayes.
Marge “Cilla” leaves to cherish loving memories with: her loving husband of 32 years, Green Brookins, III, AKA, JR; oldest daughter, Thea Brandon; son, Otis Brandon, III (Deanna), and, her youngest daughter, Tammy Jack- son (James); and a host of grand and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; also, her loving cousins who were raised as siblings: Wanda Gibson, Beverly Gibson and EJ Baker.
Visitation will be this Friday evening 6-8 p. m. at Harmon Fu- neral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610. The procession will assemble Saturday, 1:45 P. M. at the church.

MLK Day Of Service Project To Teach Teen Boys Economic Empowerment With Free E-Sports And Gaming Workshop
Voice The Movement, Incorpo- rated (VTM), will host an E-sports and Gaming centered, youth empower- ment workshop entitled, FEARLESS: The Workshop for middle and high school boys ages 13-18. The event will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at the Springhill Park Commu- nity Center (1000 East Eskimo Av- enue, Tampa, FL 33604) from 9 a. m. -3p.m.
