NELISSA
This week’s Spotlight feature, Nelissa, is full of confi- dence and sure she will be successful in whatever en- deavor she chooses. Nelissa is a very energetic young lady who has mastered the art of staying focused, and work- ing hard to achieve the level of success she feels she de- serves. Nelissa does find the time to relax, but only with those close to her, and also the people most responsible for keeping her motivated. Congratulations to Nelissa as this week’s Spotlight Feature.

Tampa Housing Authority
Holds 9th Annual Back
To School Give-Away
Tampa Housing Authority is hosting its annual back to school bash to support families throughout its properties. There will be a variety of activ- ities for kids and par- ents, including free haircuts, face paint- ing, musical entertain- ment, a mobile petting zoo and giveaways as well as
other interactive fun.
In addition, every school-aged child will receive a supply-
filled backpack of his or her choice along with a lunch bag. More than 200 school supply kits and backpacks are expected to be handed out during the event to ensure the students in the community have a successful start to their academic year.
All activities and supplies are provided at no cost to atten- dees. This event is held in partnership with the United States Navy.
This annual event aims to provide relief to families who may find it difficult to purchase back to school materials. Tampa Housing Authority is committed to supporting these families while also providing tools necessary for school success.
The event will be held at Oaks at Riverview Community Cen- ter, 110 E. Kirby Street, Tampa, FL 33604, on Friday, July 28th, from 10 a. m. until 3 p. m.
