Delta Sorors From FAMU Celebrate 10th Anniversary With ‘Melanin Illustrated’ Photoshoot
A reported 56 sorority sisters took a three-day trip to Costa Rica, and took “girl’s trip” to a whole new level.
They celebrated their 10 year anniversary as sorors of the Beta Alpha chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. The sorority sisters crossed in Spring 2007 at Florida A&M University.
While there, the group took a catamaran to a private island for their “Melanin Illustrated” photoshoot.
A spin on the swimsuit issue of the popular magazine, the sorors wore neutral toned bathing suits and posed all over the island showcasing their Black beauty in all shapes, sizes and tones.
The women ranged in ages between 29 and 35, and they all have remained in contact with one another.
