Lochte Robbery Story In Dispute;
Lutz Resident Wins Gold In Olympics

Tampa resident, Tianna Bartoletta, a two-time world champion, has an Olympic gold medal after she won the long jump final with a career best jump of 23 feet 6-1/4 inches.
Bartoletta, 30, won her world titles a decade apart, in 2005 and 2015. She re- sponded to two big jumps from Serbia’s Ivana Spanovic and defending gold medalist and teammate, Brit- tney Reese, on the fifth at- tempt to regain the lead with one round remaining.
Bartoletta came to Rio de Janeiro hoping to medal in the 100 meters and long jump, but the 100 didn’t go well.
Bartoletta is the Founder and President of Club 360. She married investment manager, John Bartoletta, in 2012 after meeting him a few years earlier in Orlando. They now have a home in Lutz, Florida.

Jack Conger and Gun- nar Bentz were removed from their flights back to the United States for further in- vestigation into the incident involving four Team USA swimmers, including Ryan Lochte, according tomulti- ple reports. Lochte has al- ready flown back home, but fellow swimmer Jimmy Feigen is still missing.
The four were allegedly robbed at gunpoint on Sun- day after leaving a party at France House. The swim- mers who were pulled from their flights will not be al- lowed to leave Brazil until they testify about the rob- bery, according to the Associ- ated Press.
Patrick Sandusky, the United States Olympic Com- mittee spokesperson issued the following statement:
"Jack Conger and Gun- nar Bentz were detained Wednesday night shortly be- fore their flight was sched- uled to depart from Rio. They were released by local au- thorities with the under- standing that they would continue their discussions about the incident on Thurs- day. James Feigen is also communicating with local au- thorities and intends to make further statements regarding the incident on Thursday as well. We will continue to pro- vide updated information as it is appropriate."
U.S. athletes, Kristi Castlin, Brianna Rollins and Nia Ali, claimed the top three spots in the 100m hurdles

Silver: Nia Ali (United States)
Bronze: Kristi Castlin (United States)
Americans Brianna Rollins, Nia Ali and Kristi Castlin swept the 100m hurdles in Rio on Wednes- day.
Rollins finished first in 12.48 seconds, followed by Ali in 12.59 seconds and Castlin in 12.61 seconds. It was the first time a nation
swept the podium in the event.
The 100m hurdles is one of the deepest events for the United States. 2008 Olympic champion Dawn Harper- Nelson and world record holder Keni Harrison both failed to make the 2016 Olympic team.
Great Britain’s Cindy Ofili was fourth, and her sis- ter, Tiffany Porter, was seventh. Porter’s husband, Jeff, represented the United States in the 110m hurdles.
