C. Guide to Using the Interactive Digital
Flipbook
To facilitate the use of the flipbook, the author has conducted
trials with learners and made revisions based on their feedback and
difficulties encountered during usage. In the development of the
flipbook, input and suggestions from experts, BIPA instructors, and
learners have been taken into account, aiming to improve its quality.
The following are the steps for using the e-book that need to be
considered.
1. The flipbook consists of 16 sections: 1) front cover, 2) title
page, 3) preface, 4) course outline book A-1, 5)
Introduction to Yogyakarta, 6) introduction, 7) alphabet
introduction, 8) learning topics, 9) exercises, 10) cultural
notes, 11) summary, 12) interesting facts about
Yogyakarta's culture, 13) bibliography, 14) glossary, 15)
author's biography, 16) back cover.
2. The e-book product features several tools with different
functions, including :
a. Play record = Functions to play recordings.
b. Play image = Displays photos or images.
c. Play video = Plays videos.
d. Recording = Allows recording.
e. Back = Opens the previous page.
f. Next = Opens the next page.
3. The flipbook can be accessed using mobile devices, laptops,
and requires an internet connection. However, to optimize
the usage, it is recommended to use a laptop.
4. Next, learners are introduced to the e-book, the list of
learning topics, Yogyakarta's culture, and the introduction
of the alphabet. These introductions aim to provide a
general overview of BIPA learning.
