Sales & Marketing
Netherlands
Aico
• Sales to Hemmink will be just
over €9.5M for 2025, achieving
their target.
• Hemmink’s own sales are 16%
up on last year, driven primarily
by Ei3000 series and Ei600 series
sales. There have been a number
of housing association projects
contributing to this demand.
• Ei hosted a group of 23 Hemmink
customers in May. They were
installers, with a good mix of
Ei ambassadors, sceptical and
neutral users. By the end of the
trip, there was an overwhelmingly
positive response to Ei, the brand
and the factory operations. Well
done to everyone involved in
making the trip a success.
• In June this year, Hemmink hit
the road with a branded trailer,
visiting multiple Electrical
Wholesale customers. The aim
was to create brand visibility,
similar to how Ei uses its mobile
units in the UK and Ireland.
Current and
new products
were on display,
with information sessions on the
Fire Safety Chain, Gateway and
Enduri products.
• Hemmink are proud to announce
its partnership with the Dutch
Burns Foundation. The
foundation works to prevent
burns and reduce the suffering of
burn victims through education,
research and support for
treatment and reintegration.
Hemmink are making an annual
donation and now deepening
the collaboration by making Ei
Smoke Alarms available through
the foundation’s webshop, which
allows users to buy directly.
The Dutch Burns Foundation
are very influential in driving
the narrative around fire safety
both at a national level in the
Netherlands, and at a European
level in Brussels.
• The rest of the world markets will
finish up around €9M for 2025,
which is up 93% on last year.
• 60% of that volume comes from
the UAE through JCI. After the full
release of this product range in 2024,
a full year has led to significant
sales in 2025. Sales are expected to
slow in the region next year due to
the initial fulfilment of villas being
taken up in 2024 and 2025.
• Finland has had a strong year through
our distributor FSM, 15% up on last
year. This has been boosted by the
change in legislation, which comes
into effect from January 2026. This
now places the responsibility for fire
detection on the building manager or
owner, instead of the tenant.
• The Middle
East markets,
through our
d i s t r i b u t o r
IMCI, have shown good growth
in 2025, up 39%. There has been
decent business in South Africa and
Singapore, with the Ei140e series
and Ei600 series being the most
prominent products sold.
Ei has recently been approved as
an official supplier to the National
Housing Company (NHC) in Saudi
Arabia. The Ei140e series and
Ei3024 have been specified. There is
a programme for 750,000 villas to be
built over the next 5 years, and this
listing gives us a strong potential of
being specified in these builds.
• Business in Norway is down 18% on
the previous year, via our distributor
Noby. The Norwegian market has
become awash with cheap Asain
competitor products over the past
few years. A further analysis of the
long-term market potential in the
Nordics will take place next year.
• Belgium and Denmark combined
are up 25% on last year through our
distributors Ras and Consilium.
• Other markets are insignificant in
revenue terms; however, we will
be focusing our activities on new
emerging market potential in 2026,
notably Spain.
Outlook for 2026
2026 will see a number of product launches – a new
4000 Series and continued expansion of the Gateway
connected eco-system.
• 4000 Series
- First device combining fire, CO and environmental
sensing.
- Broadest multi-sensor range to date; fits existing
easi-fit bases.
- New RadioLINK Connect protocol for easier
install & enhanced data.
-
University of Strathclyde research supports
ceiling-mounted environmental sensor accuracy.
• TEC
- Positioned for UK’s digital telecare transition.
-
Includes OK/NOK buttons, wearable SOS pendant
(fall detection, GPS, SIM, 2-way speech).
-
New HomeLINK TEC platform with virtual call
centre, digital support, responder app and AI
“pattern of life” insights.
• Universal Input
- Connects boilers, sprinkler pumps and MVHR
systems directly into HomeLINK.
-
Enables proactive maintenance and reduced
callouts.
• Temperature Clamp
- Monitors heating and water system temperatures
for insight on performance, failures and Legionella
risk.
- Replaces “point-in-time” checks with continuous,
accurate sensor data.
• Radon Sensor
- Replaces slow 3-month puck tests with continuous
digital monitoring.
- Addresses 3.3m UK homes at risk; radon causes
more deaths than residential fires.
The overall economic view for the UK in 2026 remains
cautious, with continuation of slow economic growth.
However, Aico are hopeful for continued progression
across all areas of the business.
