Manufacturing Operations
cont.
As well as being involved in, and help co-ordinate all manufacturing changes including cell builds, cell conversions, equipment validation, etc, Yvonne
and her team have addressed a significant number of pilots, component changes, process improvements and non-standard product builds.

A robust supply chain is critical for the continuity of supply of product to
our customers. NPI were involved in a significant amount of component
evaluation and validation including:
- 128 x component pilots
- 35 x new second source components
27 x new Test House Submission projects for all the relevant notified
bodies - BSi, CNPP, ITL, UL, and Kriwan.
Over 40 x New Product Engineering Builds where various stages of builds
were required by Engineering for further testing and validation. These
builds involve control and management of all new components, prototype
assembly, process design and feedback.
15 x New Product Builds, mainly for OEM models. These builds were
critical to validate the assembly process and ensure the necessary controls
were in place.
New SKUs introduced into the Production process include.
- 6 x new models from JCI
- 2 x new Ei6500 OMS models for France and Poland
- 2 x new models for NICE
17 x Production Cell Validations to confirm process and equipment
functionality.
A number of key projects addressed this year include:
Pack process developments
JCI models
Ongoing development and enhancement of the application to address the various JCI
models. Linking the relevant module QR codes, validating the test results and printing
the “considerable” number of interlinked codes on the desired unit box and master
carton labels.
NICE models (SMKT100-345 and CO100-345)
Scanning the module QR code, validating a pass result in the “RF sniffer” table,
linking the serial codes and printing desired unit box and master carton labels.
Brooks models
Inclusion in the Pack App by adding the relevant Serialisation to the products and the
packaging.
Additional SKUs
Development of 25 additional SKUs for Edmundson’s and integration into the Pack
App process.
Operational KPIs
63 new products (SKUs) generated
294 documents created / updated
Compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 Management Systems.
Successfully completed our bi-annual audits by BSi for the ISO
management systems with zero non-conformances.
Safety Performance: Recordable incident rates slightly increased
compared to the previous year, but increased near miss reporting, targeted
safety training, and improved root-cause investigations has resulted in a
safer workplace environment.
Environmental Performance: Waste reduction, energy efficiency projects,
and better resource management contributed to lower environmental
impact. Compliance with environmental regulations remained strong, with
no major violations reported.
Health & Well-Being: Expanded wellness programs, ergonomic
improvements, and occupational health monitoring supported employee
health and reduced work-related health risks.

Health & Safety and Environment
During this year, we continued strengthening our Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) performance through improved operational controls,
enhanced workforce engagement, and proactive risk management. Overall, the year reflected steady progress in promoting a stronger safety culture,
and advancing sustainability initiatives.
202 ECNs processed
18 new packing instructions completed
This year Ei announced a significant milestone in our ongoing
commitment to health, safety, and environmental responsibility.
Following comprehensive radiation monitoring, EPA auditing,
radiation wipe-testing programme, EPA document submissions, and
the safe removal of all Americium-241 sources from our facility, we
have successfully transitioned from a radiation-licensed site to a fully
EPA-registered site.
