4- Software and operating system
Operating System: It enables us to use our computer and Windows and Android
are the most famous operating system.
The central processing unit (CPU): is a type of hardware, controls what and how
data is processed and processes data and converts it to useful information.
How data processed on the computer:
Imagine you want to write a report for schools, let's see how the computer will
process your report:
1- Write your text in Microsoft word.
2- The operating system sends data to the CPU (it is a type of hardware).
3- The CPU processes the data.
4- The CPU send information to the operating system.
5- The operating system receives the information and shows it on the screen.
