Priority should be given to programs that focus new and/or existing resources on increasing educational levels, increasing the number of postsecondary credentials earned, reducing income gaps, decreasing poverty levels, connecting adults to high demand careers and livable wage career opportunities, and that are willing to leverage the availability and use of local support/resources.
To continue working on our long term goals, continuous improvement, and monitoring relevant data via the Workforce Development Convening group at the Ruth Moot Foundation, and the FGCC‘s Opportunity Youth Coalition. Members of Group 5 have committed to continue working together on these efforts.
