o Determine scope of parent/caregiver education programs and ensure that parents have
opportunities to receive quality parenting skills
 Identify programs the engage families in coaching or mentoring and determine need
for additional services in the county
 Provide educational opportunities and resources to parents and caregivers
 Develop ways to help the most at-risk families to take advantage of programs
available
o Ensure all children have quality early learning experiences in childcare or at home o Increase parenting program offerings through many venues including hospitals and
schools

o Increase interactive literacy activities between parents/adults and their children using evidence-based family literacy programming
