Dear Brothers of The Mighty Michigan District:
It is my pleasure to welcome you to our 2024 Michigan District Conference
as we ascend on Ann Arbor to conduct the business of Alpha. The theme,
“Standing on Business,” was not only timely but also serves as an inspiring
call to action, resonating deeply with all who attended.
As College Brothers we must make sure that we maintain the many areas of
focus before us. These areas are: maintaining good grades, keeping our eye
on our careers and what we want to accomplish post grad (as we all know,
College Days Swiftly Pass), and making sure that we remain leaders on our
respective campuses by doing the work of Alpha our Jewels and Prophytes
laid out for us so many years before. This is not easy, but we will get the tools this weekend to manage all these
and “Stand on Business.”
To our Alumni brothers, keep being the example for us college brothers as we navigate our hurdles because we
are looking to you for a preview of what our lives could be once our college concludes. Myself along with the
other college brothers are looking forward to fellowshipping and networking with each of you this weekend.
As your Assistant District Director, it has been my esteemed pleasure to represent you in my travels and to
Brothers from other districts I encounter. It has made me know that there is truly no district like ours and you
know when you have encountered a “Michigan Made” Brother. We are Brothers with passion for this Fraternity
and truly a love for all mankind. Again as we “Stand on Business” this weekend, let us not forget to have fun and
enjoy the rare opportunity we all have of being in the same room at the same time. And when it is over, I know
you know to “shake hands, exchange greetings, and depart friends.”
Once again, congratulations on another remarkable achievement of the Michigan District Conference. I look
forward to catching up with each of you and strengthening our bond as the Mightiest of all Districts in the
Midwest.
