I would like to express my interest in the Perinatal and Infant Health Section Manager position. I look forward to a challenging position, which will fully utilize my talents.
I am currently employed with the Department of Health & Human Services as a Training Delivery Manager. I manage at team of 17 trainers. In this position, I provide a diverse and equitable work environment, interpret and analyze policy and procedure, develop corrective action plans, submit written responses to the Office of Children’s Ombudsman, develop training materials for Children’s Protective Services, Foster Care, Adoption, Juvenile Justice, Family Preservation and Adult Services. I also provide training and consultation to field staff and managers. I have worked with Children and Families for over 20 years. I have in experience in creating and writing policy, building strategic plans for my department. Experienced in collaborating with many departments within MDHHS. Currently provide oversight to several contracts including Medical, Legal and In-Service Training with Michigan State University.
I have a comprehensive education background. I obtained my Master of Social Work Degree from Eastern Michigan University and Bachelor of Science from Central Michigan University.
