CAP in CAMBODIA
Prior to my November trip to Cambodia, I was asked to do some
budgeting classes with the girls who’d moved into a shared house
(i.e. flat). I felt it’d be great to share the CAP Money course with
them, so that’s what we did. There was enemy resistance to me
running the course, mainly logistics and communication. I know
anyone who works with Young Adults can relate to, a bit like
herding cats… We persevered and 2 hours after our scheduled start
time, we got into the first session.
The ladies who showed up were very studious and quite
engaged. One of them works part time (as she’s also studying) as
an administrator for the Methodist Church in Cambodia, and is a
Christian.
