ed. So obviously some of them will run out.
Once a medical student from China came
and was kept in isolation. But her father
wanted otherwise, he took an open jeep came
inside, took the girl out, and drove past our
security. So now you have a suspected covid
absconding!! Yes then I knew that I have to
find out where they had gone! No I don't
want to be Cop! How come it is my job!! But I
became answerable for that also! Wow now I
know I am in soup!!

One fine day on May 7th 2020, Jayasree
madam, the consultant physician, my senior,
my mentor, was on duty. So that day I was
exempted from taking the swab, as madam
took the swab for me. Five people, three from
Italy and 2 contacts, came on that day. The
Covid suspects was suspected by Dr Shambhu
from THQ Ranni. And our Jayasree madam
has a golden hand, a Midas touch. The next
day March 8th 2020 was a Sunday, and I used

to get up around 9 on a Sunday morning.
At morning 6 I got a call from deputy
superintendent Dr Sajan.

"Nazlin yesterday's five people are confirmed
Covid 19. There is an urgent meeting by
collector in collectorate conference hall
at 7 a.m. you have to be there." I called Dr
Sharath and Jayasree madam. They were also
informed. Now I know everything is going to
change. And what next!!

We reached collectorate by 7 a.m. we were all
thinking what to tell! Anyway we are bound
