1.5  Document Conventions

                         This document uses the following conventions

                          NOTE         This is a note which holds important information

                          Excel File   An Excel file containing data for multiple matters (pre-import)

                          XML File     An XML file containing data pertaining to a single matter (post-archive)
                          DAC6 File    A DB record containing data relating to a single matter (post import)



               2.  GENERAL DESCRIPTION

                    2.1  Product Context

                         There is currently little or no software available to report cross-border tax

                         arrangements. Furthermore, existing cross-border tax arrangements, post 25  June
                         2018, also need to be reported. The software being developed by Ghost-Digital &
                         Data is designed to help organizations assess arrangements, add the appropriate
                         hallmarks and where necessary report them to their local TAX authority within the
                         specified timeframe.

                         NOTE: The DAC6 functionality explained in this document will be released as an add-
                         on module to Ghost Digital & Data’s existing Single Point product.


                    2.2  User Classes and Characteristics
                             System Administrator
                              Manages system settings, user profiles and general configuration. Can access all
                              aspects of the software including access to all DAC6 files.

                             User
                              A File Owner or Moderator

                              o  File Owner (Partner / Fee Earner)
                                  Inputs and manages DAC6 files for the appropriate matters. Performs cross-
                                  border assessments and assigns hallmarks.

                              o  Tax Moderator
                                  Reviews hallmarks assigned by file owners, and signs off on their validity.

                              o  Privilege Moderator
                                  Reviews client privilege assigned by file owners, and signs off on validity.
