Christ, today I fast, and I thank You!
Today I fast, I am free!
I am closer to the “personal mode of existence” and
farther from individuality, from nature, from death!
I am free from myself!
I am free from the impersonal instinct of
self-preservation,
And I am not afraid,
Because I am in Your embrace!
