4. Bring the working end up and, approaching from the wrist side of the

hand and going toward the fingers, weave it under the bight that is now
on the left over the one on the right (arrow).

5. Weave the working end in the opposite direction (arrow), going under

the turn on the right atop the little finger. Be sure to keep the knot very
loose at this stage as you will need room to maneuver in later steps.
