working end and follow that single line toward the other end, pulling it
snug, until you have circuited the knot three times.
11. To dispose of the two projecting ends, pull firmly on one of them and
whip the extended end close to the knot. Now, cut off the line just beyond
the whipping. Repeat the process with the other end and tuck both
behind the interwoven bights. The finished knot now appears to have no
beginning or end.
