Personal Protecti ve Equipment Signs

From April 2013 the PPE Regulati ons 1992 apply the provision and use of
hard hats on all constructi on sites. This means as an employer you must
provide all employees with a hard hat and ensure that they are worn.
Make sure that your hard hats are in good conditi on and fi t the user
properly. If the hat is damaged in anyway dispose of it and get a new one.
When selecti ng your PPE, make sure you choose good quality products
that are CE marked in accordance with the Personal Protecti ve Equipment
Regulati ons 1992. To ensure the right footwear is being used, you as an
employer need to carry out a risk assessment.
