Page 2 - The Traveler and the Donkey final inside 18a
P. 2
There was once a man, who had a plan,
to pack his bags and leave the land.
He had always felt a stranger there,
where life is hard and so unfair.
So deeply wanted he a home,
a place where he was not alone.
He took a donkey from the pen,
Tied on his bags and things, and then,
he bid farewell to all he knew,
and in his mind a feeling grew.
Of hope and laughter, joy and glee,
that he could finally be free.
