Think through your time in the church? What sins do people commit that they suffer a stigma
for, even if they repent and forsake that sin? This week, take some time to ask yourself what
Christ would do with that person if He were the pastor of the church. Carefully and prayerfully
ask God how He would want you to address the issues of using shame as a form of
unforgiveness in the Christian life. Think through a plan for addressing the issue, and the steps it
will take to lead your congregation into a more Christlike way of engaging restoration.
