3. How does the evidence of Carbon 14 in deep strata (and in diamonds) show evidence for a young
earth?
4. How far back do you have to go before the history of man is in written form?
5. What is an index fossil?_______________ . Why does their existence today demonstrate a young
Earth?
6. If you find fossil evidence for raindrops or footprints of animals in the sand, how does that
demonstrate a young Earth?
7. Scientists recently found over 400 fossils of a creature from the phylum Entoprocta, which is
composed of all soft body parts. Explain why this recent find is so significant to the young-earth
proponents.
8. What does it mean when we say that our presuppositions determine our predictions?
Let’s get Personal…
Which is harder? To believe that a powerful God designed and created all that we see or that all that we
see was simply a product of chance and accidents? And when you look at the creation, you see an
explosion of design. You see how systems interact with other systems and how everything is perfectly
balanced. It all came from the mind of a God who loves His creation. He created the metal that man
used to make nails. He created the wood that man used to make a cross. And He came as a man to be
willing to lay down His life for the ones who rejected Him, all because of His great love.
Write down a person’s name that you know does not know about this wonderful God:
Now write down a plan of how you can go to that person and tell them about Him. Perhaps you could
invite them over for a meal? Perhaps you could take them a gift. Write down your plan.
