ARTICLE V. REGISTRATION
Section 1. All students shall register not later than the date specified in the school
calendar.
ARTICLE VI. CROSS-ENROLLMENT
Section 1. No student shall be admitted in another college, school or department of the
university without the authority of the Dean of the College where he was
previosly enrolled.
Section 2. In case a student enrolled in two (2) or more colleges he/she may be allowed
provided that the total number of units enrolled must not exceed the maximum
units allowed by the University.
Section 3. Students of the Isabela State University may cross-enroll in other institutions
of learning upon permission of the Dean/ARA Director concerned. The
Dean/ARA Director shall issue the permit subject to the approval of the
Registrar.
The Isabela State University shall credit any course(s) taken by any of its
students in another University, College or School only upon endorsement of the
Dean/ARA Director upon the recommendation of the registration adviser
concerned.
ARTICLE VII. ORIENTATION OF FRESHMEN
Section 1. Students are classiifed as folows:
a) Regular student. A regular student is one who carries the full load allowed
by the curriculum in a given term. However, a student who already finished
some of the required subjects, the equivalent units shall be addded to the
units computed for the purpose of determinig his/her status.
b) Irregular student. An irregular student is one who carries credits less than
the full load allowed by the curriculum in a given semester.
c) In a four-year course:
1) A freshmen is a student who has not completed the prescribed
subjects of the first year of his curriculum, or 25% of the total number
of units required in his entire course.
2) A sophomore is a student who has completed the prescribed subjects
of the first year of his curriculum, or has finished 25% but less than 50
% of the total number of units required in his entire course.
3) A junior is a student who has completed the prescribed subjects of the
first two (2) years of his curriculum, or has finished 50% but less than
75% of the total number of units required in his entire course.
4) A senior is a student who has completed the prescribed subjects of
the first, second, third years of his curriculum but not the subjects of
the fourth year, or has completed 75 % of the total number of units
required for his entire course.
5) In courses other than the four-year course, students shall be classified
on a similar proportional basis.
