Inc. Incomplete
“5” Signifies failure – It requires re-enrollment/repetition of the course.
“INC” – indicates that the work is incomplete. It is given to a student whose
class standing throughout the semester is passing but fails to appear for the
final examination due to valid reasons. If the opinion of the Dean, the absence
from the examination is justifiable, the student may be given an examination. In
case the class standing is not passing and the student fails to take the final
examination for any reason, a grade of “5” is given. “Inc.” is also given due to
some requirements not complied with but with passing performance. If the
student passes the requirement needed for the removal of an “inc” the final
grade may be 3 or better: if he fails to complete the requirements within the
period of one academic year he will automatically be given a grade of “5” by the
subject faculty.
