Patience and quick thinking are the names of the
work-from-home game! As my daughter transitioned
to a remote learning environment, we faced a compatibility
challenge between our personal Apple Mac laptop and the
Office 365 suite, which made it difficult for her to submit
assignments. Various times during Mylie’s Zoom calls,
I had to log off from my work Office 365 account and log
into her school Office 365 profile in order to find her finalized
homework. More than once, it happened minutes before a work
meeting, where I had to present, so “quick thinking” became a
must! Luckily for me, being at Telemundo in 2018 during the
World Cup prepared me for anything.
That was an intense work period!
