Infrastructure Managed Services
Proactive Monitoring
The Proactive Monitoring team are responsible for configuring and operating tools that monitor and alert
on any issues surrounding performance, availability and security of Omnico’s Azure hosted environment, platform and applications. The team will receive and respond
to system incident alerts, routing alerts to appropriate teams and identity trends that may indicate opportunities for improvements. Monitoring reports will be reviewed regularly with the customer. A full list of services monitored by Omnico can be provided.
Availability Management
The team will continuously review the hosted environment to ensure it is configured to meet the targets outlined.
Capacity Management
This aspect of the team’s responsibility is to ensure that the capacity of the IT infrastructure is sufficient to deliver the agreed service levels, plus investigate any capacity related issues.
Continuity Management
The team will ensure the customer has the appropriate continuity and disaster recovery mechanisms in place to meet service targets, will test continuity and disaster recovery plans, maintain continuity targets and ensure relevant staff are trained in the recovery processes.

Security Management
This ensures there is appropriate security in place,
taking into account the likelihood or impact of a security breach. The team will review application, platform and infrastructure design to ensure appropriate security, ensure antivirus monitoring, maintain a service security plan, and investigate any security breaches in accordance with Omnico’s breach procedures. The team will take proactive measures to improve security.
Central Server Application Release Management
The team are responsible for maintaining the Omnico Patch Management Policy and identify any product patches required, following Omnico’s release and deployment process to deploy and test, once tested deploy UAT for customer testing, and deploy into the product environment.
Central Server Windows Release Management
Applications in this section refer to services outside of Omnico’s products.
The team will maintain Omnico’s Patch Management Policy and identify patches required for operations systems and non-Omnico applications. This will follow the Omnico Release and Deployment Process, once QA tested will deploy UAT for customer testing and deploy into the product environment.
