Mentally strong people do not dwell on the past.
Coming to terms with the past doesn’t mean acting as if certain things never happened; you must accept and forgive the past so that you can build on it in the present.
Give yourself permission to enjoy your life. Then, be wary of attitudes that keep you from experiencing change.

Mentally strong people do not make the same mistake twice.
To learn from your mistakes the next time something goes wrong, ask yourself the following questions: What did I do wrong? What could I have done better?
What can I do differently next time around? But knowing what you need to do differently and actually doing it aren't the same thing, which is why you need to practice
self-discipline. Keep focused, write down why you don’t want to repeat your mistakes, and restrict yourself to make it harder for you to make the same mistake again.

Mentally strong people do not resent other people’s success.
People who are not threatened by the success of others end up attracting successful people with whom they can collaborate. This is how celebrating the success
of others can elevate your own success.

Mentally strong people never give up after an initial failure

People who practice consistently, never giving up despite constant failures along the way, often end up being better at a given skill than those who at first seemed
naturally talented. The key to overcoming the fear of failure lies in self-compassion, so treat failures as stepping stones to something greater.

Mentally strong people do not fear being alone.
Mentally strong people know that those quiet times when you are attentive to yourself can be a great source of rejuvenation, inspiration and reflection.

So, have regular quiet moments to write your thoughts and goals in a journal. Also, it would be beneficial
to meditate, which can actually alter the structure of the brain, with positive effects on cognition and emotional regulation.

Mentally strong people do not feel entitled.

Mentally strong people do not expect the world to shower them with success and good fortune. They look at things with
a measure of responsibility and concentrate on giving and making an impact on the lives of others. They look at what they
can do to make things better and actively take action, such as volunteering and committing to a cause they believe in.

Mentally strong people never expect immediate results.

When you have a goal, set realistic expectations and be pragmatic. Accept from the start that reaching your goal will be
tough, so try not to put a make-or-break timeframe to your goal. Sometimes improvements are well-hidden, and sometimes
they even look like steps backward. So even when you’re not seeing any progress at a given moment, stick to your goal
      and keep working at it.
