The future is Accessible

Accessibility has now become the next frontier in creating an optimal user experience.

The power of accessibility lies in allowing people to interact with content via sight,
hearing, speech, or touch through various assistive technologies, including screen
readers (text to speech), screen magnifiers, braille readers, closed captions, and audio

descriptions for videos.

One such tool that SPi Global has developed that has commercial potential in the
education/learning space is Chart-Text. IT is a technology tool that automatically
generates standardized textual descriptions of a given chart or graph image, which

can then be used as alternative text (Alt-Text) as codes in websites. They may also be
embedded in documents where chart images appear, which will be detected and read
by screen readers.

Chart-Text is a value-add that we are able to provide to our clients so that they can

better meet global regulatory standards on Accessibility (Web Content Accessibility
Guidelines or WCAG). More importantly, Chart-Text combined with the standard
Braille technology, dramatically improves learning capabilities of the visually impaired.

When extensively applied, Chart-Text will have significant impact in the academic field
and even the business world.
