The health crisis has had a huge impact on the economy and the
organizations’ task list has taken an unexpected turn. Many sectors that had
high growth expectations have had to halt their activities and recruitment,
having to reduce the size of their workforce; while others have shown their
great strength and position at the most critical time and have been able to
grow and stay competitive.
In this complex labor scenario, salaries continue with a parallel trend in the
development of the sectors, since the most competitive are those that have a
better retribution. Some of the main conclusions from the salary trend report
are: The profiles related to new technologies and innovation provide the
most interesting compensations. The health crisis has hastened
digitalization and now more than ever IT talent has become indispensable.
▪ The trends for 2021 is that 82% of the companies had remote work,
the rest wasn’t necessary because they were essential and continue
to work with their regular workforce.
