Identifying the Organization's Key Sustainability Issues
THP has analyzed key sustainability issues affecting business operations caused by changes in the external environment, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the 20-year National Strategy (2018-2038), the 13th National Economic and Social Development Plan (2023-2027), the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society’s 5-year operational plan (2023-2027), the Ministry of Finance’s 5-year operational plan (2023-2027), and Criteria for evaluating the performance and management of Core Business Enablers for state enterprises (revised edition 2024) issued by the State Enterprise Policy Office (SEPO), Ministry of Finance.
In regard to internal environment, THP has conducted a study of stakeholders’ issues and needs, prioritizing each aspect according to its importance. The organization has also assessed the alignment of sustainability factors for the year 2024 that can respond comprehensively to stakeholders’ demands and expectations.
Priority Assessment
THP has conducted a Materiality Analysis to prioritize key sustainability issues. This analysis ranks the impact factors that are important to both the organization and its stakeholders. The prioritization process uses a two-dimensional scoring system : 1) Organizational Impact : this considers the likelihood, opportunities, frequency, and severity of potential impacts on THP; and 2) Stakeholder Impact : this considers the likelihood, opportunities, frequency, and severity of impacts on stakeholders, including social and environmental consequences. Based on these criteria, THP has identified the key sustainability factors for 2024 as follows :

Upon review, it was determined that these 19 sustainability factors impact THP’s strategic sustainability. After prioritization, there were 10 key factors having significant effects on both THP and its stakeholders. These 10 factors will guide the organization’s sustainability efforts moving forward.
