Willie (Bill) Edward Jackson was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Mr. Allie Jackson (1966) and the late

Mrs. Mopsy B. Robinson Jackson (2005).

He received his education at Simpson Road Elementary School and Booker T. Washington High
        School.

Early in life, Bill acquired a love for golf while caddying for notable golfers at the Lincoln Country Club in

Atlanta, GA. Through this love of golf, Bill continued to practice his craft, playing at many clubs and

parks around the Country. He received recognition for his talent and for being a trailblazer – eventually
being honored publicly in several media outlets as one of the first Black semi-professional golfers.

union, 6 children were born. Bill was very proud of his children and the lives that they built for

        themselves and their families.

Bill was a hard worker and was employed for many years at the Hershey Company. After retiring, Bill

Bill was a very jovial person. He was larger than life and he left an impression upon all that met him. He

        loved his family.
