Epiphany

they are bleeding and pleading

there is destruction

the macrocosm

this world went to

you know

in my little life where I just stay here

and realize

there is nothing I can do

I must accept it and make the best of what I have

because I may be struggling

but so is everyone else

so that makes me

insignificant?

that is what she told me

to which I replied

no

you may be one soul on this earth

and nothing in the grand scheme of things

but you know what?

you mean something to me

and when you realize you mean something to others

you will mean something to yourself

and maybe have an

epiphany.
