Sun and Moon Love

The sun, that big
glowing star that
makes life possible.
The moon, the large
and dazzling satellite
that keeps our world
in place. These two
both live near earth,
yet are so far apart at
the same time. When
alone the two aren’t
given much
attention. They’re
seen every day, and
the more time passes
the more alone they
feel. But every once
in a while, the two
get closer and closer
until something
beautiful happens.
When the moon and
sun meet and the
whole world stops to
watch the moment
when the light is
blocked and a shadow
of love is cast over
the earth. Though
only for a short
amount of time, its
beauty is captured
and talked about for
days. And just like
that, they have
separated once again,
but they long to see
each other once more,
so they keep going
until they are
reunited with their
soulmate once again,
and all is right.
