MARY-GRACE’S YEAR-IN-REVIEW:

My experience with Trent Radio this past year has been absolutely outstanding. I did not
          M
F know what to expect upon first starting as a Local Content Production Assistant, but now
I can say that it has been a wonderful experience that has made a great impact on myself.

. What is more exciting to me is that I know the impact that Trent Radio has had on me has
          2
9 been made on so many other people as well.

d I started my Trent Radio experience with basic training that made me learn through trial and
a error. It is okay to make mistakes, and not every piece of radio that I produced was perfect.
          R
The first interview I ran was one between myself and an executive member of an improv
          t
n team. I was terrified for the occasion. But after the interview, I found that it was a delightful
e experience that helped relax me for future interviews. I can list at least one thing in each
          Tr
interview I conducted/produced that I learned. I absolutely loved getting to meet and learn
about some groups on campus and to help advertise what groups on campus offered.

Furthermore, another great part about what I did as a TWSP student working at Trent Radio
was being able to engage and promote art in the community. From music, and improv to
musicals and a play. It was wonderful to talk about and get excited for things that I am so
passionate about and be encouraged to do so!

                                                             ERIQ’S TWO CENTS:

I have the pleasure of being a “Local Content Production Assistant” here at Trent Radio and
it has been a great experience. I initially took the job to become more learned in the art of
studio mixing but I am leaving with much more. Staff are understanding and do a good job
coaching through the learning experience, but leaving enough room for individual insight
and error as we learn best from our mistakes. I’ve met many local musicians who have all
left something with me in some way that will aid me in my path of musical and emotional
growth. The community is warm and often too friendly than I have time for but who has
time for work anyway. I would easily recommend anyone being a part of our community
6 because the community is all of us.
