SONAR: atrasentan phase 3 clinical trial
• 4000 type 2 diabetic patients stage 2-4 with macroalbuminuria
• Atrasentan 0.75 mg or placebo on top of standard of care (+RAAS blockade)
• Enrichment design
• Primary endpoint: time to renal composite (doubling of serum creatinine or ESRD)
• Secondary endpoint: time to CV events
