DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF GOVERNMENT JAUNGUUASRTY 2018
...Blockchain is the foundational technology and it’s the foundation because it’s what you put in place to allow you to connect to other technologies. You cannot bring about transformation of this kind with blockchain in isolation. It is only the foundation. Because it is the foundation, ensure that it is flexible and scalable—keep it simple and open and scalable.
...Blockchain is not an application, it’s not a database—it’s an ecosystem. ... What will blockchain enable us to do in the future that we cannot do today? So we have to imagine the future. Imagine 10 years from today, every operating system has a [distributed ledger technology] preinstalled, OS, Windows—everything is installed. Within every device, there is identity
and you can trust every device once it’s on the network . Now imagine you can program intelligence into each device and teach it how to think, act and execute transaction—all on its own.
When you combine Blockchain with machine learning and artificial intelligence, that’s where the true value comes in—it’s the ability to transact between machines rules and logic that can happen outside, when we’re asleep, predefined through smart contracts that’s written through the chain code—put inside the chain—to enforce transactions between targets. Humans will have to teach the machine how to think and how to execute transactions.
Separately, United Solutions developed an Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Natural Language Platform to monitor, inspect and enforce compliance with Section 508 and Security legislation for GSA. This platform automatically scans millions of documents posted on FBO.gov and other federal government websites to predict with up to 100% accuracy, which are non-compliant with certain federal laws and regulations.
In addition to its work with GSA, United Solutions is working with a number of federal agencies on digitization projects, including:
• Health and Human Services National Institutes of Health to provide the agency distributed ledger technology that enables cognitive intelligence to facilitate a faster, better smarter delivery of services and more efficient business model.
• The Federal Reserve to modernize the agency’s business intelligence and data warehouse infrastructure for consumer credit risk analysis
• The Department of Energy to develop a business management process to coordinate work across all business units and manage and measure the productivity of every resource in each workflow.
