Dalam konteks pentadbiran undang-undang, zakat bukan lagi sekadar
kewajipan rukun Islam dan hukum ibadat, malah ia juga sebahagian
daripada sistem kewangan negara untuk mengatur kebajikan
anggota menjadi
lebih efisien apabila dipertanggungjawabkan kepada pemerintah.
In the context of legal administration, zakat has evolved beyond being
solely a religious obligation and one of the pillars of Islam - it now serves
as an integral component of the nation’s 昀椀nancial system aimed at
enhancing the welfare of speci昀椀c segments of society. Its implementation
becomes signi昀椀cantly more effective and ef昀椀cient when carried out with
accountability under governmental oversight.
